MISSION
Force the Florida criminal justice system to adhere to the promise of the Florida and United States Constitutions, while instilling an aura of genuine hope by assisting our criminally charged or convicted members achieve the best possible outcome in their respective court cases; using advocacy, education, innovation, oversight, and unity (A.E.I.O.U.), coordinated for the relentless pursuit of criminal-defense improvement, with general focus on:
(1) The competence of defense counsel in preventing ineffective assistance;
(2) Transparency from prosecutors to eliminate prosecutorial misconduct, and unethical, even corrupt behavior;
(3) Fairness from judges in seeking unbiased impartial rulings and decisions.
Thus, attaining oft-elusive constitutional rights for our valued members.
Advocacy
Unyielding public and private support of our member's criminal-case defense including social networking, while encouraging the entrusted government officials to wield their power in a fair, equitable, and unbiased manner.
Education
Instruction for the understanding and improvement of our member's specific client- lawyer (or inmate-law clerk) relationship, and general knowledge of the structure and functioning of the Florida criminal justice system.
Innovation
Research of member's litigation status using TLC's Danger Assessment Rating Test (D.A.R.T.™) for comparison with historically successful criminal-defense models formulated from the microanalysis of statistical, historical, and empirical data.
Oversight
Monthly clerk-docket-activity study of member's criminal case for checks-and-balances purposes in overseeing defense counsel performance, while using our innovative analytics as a guide to informed member discussion with counsel of record, or assisting prison or jailhouse law clerk for the prevention of epidemic litigation deficiencies attributable to ineffective assistance of counsel.
Unity
Orchestrating membership benefits A-O above, guided by our member's assigned Membership Management Guardian (MMG), in harmony with defense counsel of record or assisting law clerk objectives in the pursuit of maximum effectiveness in our member's criminal-case defense. Acting as an equalizer in opposition to the power of the government by providing and stressing a collateral-support-team approach for the advantage of the member's criminal-case defense.
